If we want our wooden dishes to be usable for as long as possible, they need to be properly maintained.


The most important thing is to rinse the dish thoroughly with warm water immediately after use. Washing in the washing machine is not recommended for wood products. It is best to wash it by hand.

After washing, the dish should be dried at room temperature and not suddenly dried.


Occasionally, once in two or three months, it is recommended to coat it with a layer of edible oil that is safe to use with food. The most wood-friendly is cold-pressed linseed oil.

The coating preserves the protective layer of the wood,  extending the shelf life of the wooden dishes.
